WHAT'S HAPPENING

As you are all no doubt aware, the name of the business has been changed. This took effect in mid-March. (I can tell you that it is a WHOLE lot easier to answer the phone now! It was all worth it!!) I finally feel like the business has a name that more closely matches its flavor, and a couple of additions to the yard (an old truck wheel converted to a fire pit and some Adirondack chairs) have helped to complete the vibe.

I have been informed that the new web site (www.mykampk9.com) should be fully operational at the end of this week. It was a lot of fun to do a complete redesign from scratch, and my sister, Nicole Bergeron, has been taking my VERY rough ideas and turning them into some really cool pages, so I’m excited to have it up & running!

There were some issues that cropped up with last Monday’s storm over here (as I’m sure was the case with just about everyone), and being school vacation week, it was busy to begin with, but with the help of a dear friend and being really, REALLY lucky with electricity, a potentially catastrophic event was not nearly as severe as it could have been. Sure, we all got soaking wet, but we all survived.
Meanwhile, enjoy these photos that I took that day…

(For the last bit of news, this is the first notice (and I’ll be sending a reminder next month) of a truly startling event
I’m taking a week’s vacation, for the first time in … well, about four years, at least. It’s long overdue, and it’s happening the week of June 3-10. This means that Kamp K9 will be closed Sunday to Sunday for boarding, boarding drop-offs and pick-ups, and day camp.
