The Latest Scoop

Kmp K9A (not so) New Face

This little news blurb is a bit late in coming, but as they say…better late than never. Many of you by now have had the chance to meet our helper, Mary Larsen. Mary’s been with us since the beginning of September, and we couldn’t be happier with her reliability, personable demeanor, and her experience in the dog day care field. She’s been a welcome addition to Kamp K9, and all of our animal pals love her!

Parking Lot Info

As you know, we spread out crushed stone in our west play yard, and had some larger stone put out in the driveway. It turns out that the amount of stone in the driveway made snow blowing impossible, so thanks to a customer who came over for some quick impromptu plowing, the driveway stone has been pushed into a pile by the fence. This has made snow clearing possible, but it DOES mean that we must ask you to be aware of that pile, and cautious around it.

We also had not one, but TWO scary little incidents at the end of our driveway during the recent storm. Two separate customers, one day after another, hit a slippery patch just outside our driveway, and ended up in the ditch. County Road is a busy road, and DPS crews can only plow and sand so much at a time, so during snows, please be careful and make sure you add some extra stopping time and distance, even if it’s sunny and the road looks good. (The first accident happened during the snow, and the second, the day after.)

Lastly, we invite you to take advantage of the two parking spaces we have right in front of the office…they’re there for your convenience!

A Short One This Month

This month’s newsletter is going to be on the short side, as the holidays were busy and were followed up by snow; all of which took up a lot of time. We offer our apologies for the lack of meaningful content.

Our Thanks!

Lastly, we would like to sincerely thank all of our customers for their business and support over the past year. We feel extremely fortunate, in an economic environment such as we find ourselves, to have had a year consistent with 2008, which was a great year. It’s an honor and a source of great pride for us that we have such a dedicated clientele, who not only grant us their business, but are champions for us out there in the general public. It’s truly humbling, and we’re so very grateful for it.
