Take Me Home
Welcome to the newest feature in
The Straight Poop! We felt that it would be a good
idea to feature pets who are in need of a loving
forever home, particularly since we here at Kamp
K9 often hear about animals displaced by the misfortunes
of so many people and families in these times. If
you know a pet who needs a new home, and who doesn’t
have the benefit of much publicity, let us know,
and we can feature them here. Information given here
is preliminary only and comes either from rescue
organizations or owners; contact them for more information.

At right is Hoot, a handsome older gentleman who
is currently at Tender Touch Rescue in Scarborough (located at the
Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital).
His Petfinder.com listing shows him to have special needs, but no details
are provided, so further information will have to be garnered from Tender
Touch. The assumption is that he has special needs because of his age.
He is said to be very affectionate. We here at Kamp K9 can tell you that
older cats are great, because they’ve outgrown that youthful nuttiness,
and they can be very calm and happy just to be around you.
